| Gramercy Elementary School provides the CARES program for after-school child care. CARES provides a wholesome, safe, and challenging environment which encourages creativity and fosters self-esteem while increasing academic, social and life skills. CARES encourages family participation through family nights that take place throughout the year.
CARES includes: homework and tutoring help, twenty-minute reading time, nutritional snacks, recreational & educational enrichment club opportunities and field trips.
CARES is available every school day.
The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday is early release day from school, so hours on this day are 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Cost of the program is $40.00 a month per child. Two or more children in the same family are $65.00 per month.
Registration forms may be picked up at the school from the school secretary or from the Site Manager (Kari Hall) located at the school.
